Failed back and neck surgery syndrome refers to the patients who have previously undergone surgical procedures to treat neck or low back conditions and have experienced persistent post-surgical pain. Failed back and neck surgery syndrome does not imply there was a problem with the surgery or that something went wrong during the surgery.
Pain from failed neck and back surgery syndrome may become worse with additional surgeries.
